Preservation & Takedown

Most of the music on chiptune.cc is Creative Commons (and similarly licensed) work, shared by its creators.

Tunes ripped from games are kept here as an archive for the preservation of this art for humanity. We could not find a way to contact the original authors and rights-holders to ask permission first — that is the only reason we did not ask.

If you are an author or a rights-holder and you want your work removed, we will remove it immediately, with our sincere apologies. Email takedown@chiptune.cc and it will be taken down right away.

We will also gladly share the playout statistics for any tune (the numbers are small), and we want to be clear: we make no money from plays.
